Vivek Sharma is a Software Developer with over 3 years of experience in Microservices, SQL Server, ASP.NET MVC, and Python. Currently working as a Software Developer 2 at Oracle, he has previously worked as a Software Engineer at CGI. In addition to his professional experience, Vivek has also been selected for a summer school program at the esteemed Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. During this program, he worked on a research project focused on line and word segmentation for offline cursive English handwritten images. He implemented the Horizontal Profile Projection method to segment lines in an image.
