Vivek Sheth is a skilled Software Engineer with over 3 years of experience in Backend engineering, Machine learning, Cloud computing, Data Science, and Software development. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer at Decentro, a FinTech startup backed by Y Combinator. Vivek primarily works as a backend developer in Python stack to build FinTech products. He is responsible for creating and handling Flask microservices, integrating Banking RESTful APIs, automating API services, handling databases (MySQL & MongoDB), and unit testing of modules using pytest & mock libraries. He also integrates and uses AWS services including SQS, Lambda, SNS, EC2, S3, SES, RDS, DMS, Athena, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation. Vivek has reduced the customer onboarding time from 5 days to 5 minutes by creating a stack of APIs that can be used as a standalone mode or from the frontend dashboard. He has also generated a new source of revenue by designing and developing a mode of Recurring Payments: UPI Autopay module which is integrated with their banking partner. Prior to working at Decentro, Vivek worked as an Associate Software Engineer at HHAexchange, where he received a Diamond certificate for two sprints in a row for writing bug-free code in Prod env. He was involved in full-stack development with Angular 6 & .Net Core 3.1, API development in .Net Core 3.1 following the Onion Architecture in an agile & TDD environment. He also worked on Kafka Producer & Consumer along with Multithreading with .Net Core, logging in Microsoft Azure App Insights, Files, and DB using Serilog, developing tables in SQL Server & PostGres, and querying them using EF core. Vivek has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Dharmsinh Desai University.
