Vivek Singh is an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in the IoT, logistics and supply chain industry, and FinTech industry. He is currently the Chief Data Officer at Faclon Labs, where he is building a Data Science team and enabling AI and ML capabilities. He has also worked on projects related to markdown pricing optimization, demand forecasting, and luminates demand edge. As a Data Scientist at Neustar, Vivek worked on projects related to digital identity and risk, geo-fencing business boundary polygons, and entity resolution. He engineered features based on device geo-spatial data and credit card application data for the US market in Apache Spark and handled class imbalance in models by using advanced oversampling techniques like ROS, EasyEnsemble, and SMOTE. He also applied image processing techniques to identify the edges of buildings in Maps images and identified other businesses using Optical Character Recognition.
