Vivek Yadav is a highly experienced CEO with over 20 years of experience in supply chain management. He is the co-founder of Global Supply Chain Group, a company that specializes in streamlining supply chains for large companies and well-funded startups. With his team, he has undertaken more than 400 projects across approximately 84 countries on five continents, with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to innovative green technology companies. Their work has added cumulative value over $1 Billion, incorporating significant transformations in global manufacturing footprint, supply chain infrastructure, new investments, profitable growth through international joint ventures and other supply chain realignment, and sustainable cost reduction. Yadav's early experience as a 17-year-old merchant navy cadet forged his business thinking. Instead of going to university, he sailed to and worked in more than 200 different seaports on almost every continent over a period of 36 months. This experience taught him to combine useful elements from distinct locations to formulate a better way. More importantly, he came to understand that, once you look for it, you can always find a better way. Yadav is also an author and business transformation expert. His current company, 'unchain your corporation,' aims to help companies remove invisible chains that hold them back from successful business transformations. He is a board member of GORigger, an online industrial marketplace for the oil and gas industry, and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Supply Chain Asia, a non-profit professional body that aims to bring professionals from within the logistics and supply chain industry together for sharing of knowledge, learning from one another, and creating opportunities for collaborations. Yadav holds an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of London, and has completed senior executive education programs at Harvard Law School and IMD. He is also a Master Mariner from LBS Nautical College. Yadav's articles appear in respected journals and magazines, and he speaks at business schools, conferences, and workshops around the world. He has written four seminal books which are frequently used in business schools and quoted in research papers around the world.
