Vivek Soundrapandi is a Senior Engineering Manager with over 12 years of experience in designing and building horizontal platforms, internet applications, and technologies. He has a strong technical and people leadership background with 6+ years of experience in people management and leading multiple sprint teams. Vivek is an expert in owning the tech roadmap and strategy for multiple teams with a stronghold on product. He has a strong experience in integrations, designing and building micro-service based applications, and practicing Agile development (Scrum / Kanban frameworks). Vivek's tech stack includes Python, Django, Flask, Ruby, Rails, Sinatra, Kubernetes, jQuery, JavaScript, AWS, GCS, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB. He has a strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design. He is a fan of open source contributions and has made several contributions over GitHub. Currently, Vivek is working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Yubi. Previously, he worked as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at CredAvenue, where he was responsible for leading the agile teams under the retail vertical. He had end-to-end ownership of the complete SDLC pipeline and was accountable for the entire technical output of the teams through personal experience and strong communication with leads. He collaborated with product managers, other EMs, and stakeholders for planning and execution of teams roadmap. He also controlled teams delivery pace to instill urgency for success and protect from burnout. He was responsible for hiring and building the next level leaders and coaching, learning, and development and career management of all team members. Vivek holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from PSG College of Technology. He also attended CEOA Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
