Vivian Vivas is a highly experienced Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the industry. Currently, she is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tier1 Financial Solutions, where she is responsible for the development of applications powered by the Force.com Platform. Her expertise lies in Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and Jquery. Prior to joining Tier1 Financial Solutions, Vivian worked as a C++ Engineer at CR2, where she was responsible for designing and implementing new features to agreed timelines, maintaining and supporting new and existing features, following sound software design, process and quality practices, and following sound security engineering practices. She also occasionally traveled to customer sites to support the deployment of new features and provided out of hours support for the product. Vivian has also worked as a Programmer at Corporacion Novared, where she participated in software programming and development stages, as well as in the implementation, running, and monitoring of applications under production. She was responsible for programming and codifying part of the software according to the specifications defined in the planning, carrying out operational certifications, defining strategies for the implementation of functionalities in production environments, and monitoring and defining solutions to situations and irregularities in production environments. Vivian holds an MSc in Creative Digital Media from Technological University Dublin, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Simón Bolívar, and a High School Diploma in Science from Colegio Mater Salvatoris. She also completed a course in Advanced English from El Camino College. Vivian's technical skills include Software Engineering, Javascript, and QA.
