Vladimirs Ivanovs is a Senior Agile Coach at BALTA, which is a part of PZU Group. He is a member of the Agiletransformer.com team of Agile practitioners who provide complex transformation, training, and coaching services. Vladimirs is an Agile transformation lead and Enterprise Agile Coach with a focus on senior leaders and enterprises. He stays on the intersection of Lean-Agile, Strategy, and OD (Organisation Development) and likes to combine experience and knowledge from the past with contemporary approaches such as Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, etc., in a non-dogmatic and agnostic way. Vladimirs has worked in various sectors such as telecoms, banks, IT, consultancy, education, manufacturing, retail, oil&gas, etc. He has provided coaching and training all over the EMEA region, training executives, managers, scrum masters, product owners, teams, and individuals. His trainings are praxis-based, engaging, visual, gamified, and focused on value, outcome, and impact. Vladimirs has served 16 years as a board member of IPMA in Latvia and worked in various management positions in telecoms and as CIO in the retail chain. He recently finished a 2-year project as Agile Coach in the modernization and transformation of BP (British Petroleum) in the AGT region (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey) and is now helping insurance company Balta (part of PZU Group). Vladimirs has past experience as an Agile Coach at bp and c.t.co. At bp, he was involved in the modernization and transformation of BP in the AGT region. He worked with teams in Baku, trained the Georgia leadership team, and coached leaders, supported teams, and trained individuals in BP Georgia's journey to business agility. At c.t.co, he coached leaders of the key program delivering a complex insurance scoring solution for SwissRe across the globe. Vladimirs holds an Executive MBA from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, which he completed in 2009.
