Vraj Himanshu Reshamdalal is a graduate student pursuing an MS in Software Engineering Systems at Northeastern University in Boston. With a passion for designing and developing tools, frameworks, and applications that can improve people's lives, Vraj has gained 1.5 years of software development experience working for a startup called ZopSmart. As a software development engineer, Vraj's primary responsibilities were to write code following the best practices in Golang, produce maintainable and testable code, and perform code/PR reviews. He has expertise in programming languages such as Golang, Java, Python, and JavaScript, and technical skills in MySQL, NoSQL, YugabyteDB, Kafka, Postman, Git, Docker, Azure, Jira, and Grafana. Vraj's backend development skills include 3 layer API, CLI application, integration test, ETL, framework, and microservices. He has experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and holds a Microsoft Technology Associate: Cloud Fundamentals certificate. Vraj's past experience includes working as a software development engineer at ZopSmart, where he created an integration test in Go for an ETL tool using Golang, Kafka, and PostgreSQL, developed microservices for an e-commerce platform in Go, and maintained an ETL tool for an e-commerce platform in Go. He also worked as an intern with the backend team to design and implement a three-layer REST API in Go. Currently, Vraj is a graduate teaching assistant at Northeastern University, where he assists with teaching Concepts of Object-Oriented Design. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PESIT-Bangalore South Campus and is expected to complete his MS in Software Engineering Systems in December 2023.
