Vritangi Kansal is a highly motivated and skilled Masters student in Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University. With a passion for technology and data science, Vritangi is eager to secure challenging roles in the field after graduating in Summer 2023. Currently, Vritangi is working on machine learning algorithms for autonomous vehicles for SAE and GM's AutoDrive Challenge. She also completed a Summer internship at a startup where she worked on Computer Vision and ML-powered algorithms to solve the paradigms of quality-checking in radiology imaging. Her experience also includes 2+ years as an Analyst and Product Owner where she has been involved in client business decisions, analyzing complex data, and identifying problems. Vritangi is keen to hear about potential career opportunities in the field of software development coupled with data science which can serve real-world use cases. As a Software Developer Intern at enzee, she is currently setting up a dynamic and flexible Pytorch pipeline to create a deep learning model which can predict phantom types used in radiology. She is also leveraging PySpark to accelerate the training process 7x times by parallel processing. In the past, Vritangi has worked as a Software Developer Intern at enzee where she built detection and classification models using Python, Tensor-flow and scikit-learn. She also developed computer vision algorithms for automated methods in QC for MRI and CT Scan modalities. She performed feature engineering, image processing and fine-tuning of ImageNet model and constructed data ingestion pipeline, implementing APIs and model deployment framework. Additionally, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Ohio State University where she instructed lab classes for spreadsheets and databases for undergrad students and simulated course material and prepared quizzes and exams. Vritangi's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Chitkara University and a High School degree from D.A.V. Public School - India. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the Ohio State University.
