Vrushabh Thosar is a Co-Founder of tradeBox, a social investment platform that connects equity and crypto investors with market experts. He is a highly skilled software engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, microservices, and infrastructure. Before founding tradeBox, Vrushabh worked as a Software Engineer III at Walmart, where he redesigned and developed a scalable and fault-tolerant framework to ingest and process user segments. He also optimized clickstream pipelines to save more than 50% of cluster utilization and increased runtime speed. Additionally, he developed a CICD module to automate the deployment process. Vrushabh also worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Exadatum Software Services, where he helped various clients with data migration, infrastructure setup/migration, and creating scalable and efficient data pipelines. He designed various batch as well as streaming pipelines using Apache Spark and developed a framework to generate microservices middleware Spring Boot applications. Vrushabh holds a Master of Technology in Data Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Sinhgad College of Engineering. His technical skills include Spark, Spring Boot, Spring, Hadoop, Kafka, Flutter, Scala, Java, Apache Hive, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices. Vrushabh's expertise in software engineering and data engineering, coupled with his passion for social investment, makes him a valuable asset to the tradeBox team.
