Vrushal Patankar is a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He is currently employed at Nuance Communications and has been working on Azure cloud for the last two and a half years. Vrushal is responsible for implementing monitoring solutions and alerts on VMs, VMSS, App Gateways, etc. and keeping them updated as per requirements or changes. He is actively involved in transforming legacy environments up to the latest cloud standards in terms of infrastructure. Vrushal has excellent skills in IaaC Terraform and has implemented the same on Azure cloud. He possesses excellent troubleshooting skills in resolving multiple critical issues in the production environments. He has initiated the implementation of automation to patch servers in multiple environments for RHEL/Windows VMs. Vrushal has hands-on experience on Docker and Kubernetes (Vanilla as well as AKS) and good hands-on experience on Saltstack, Chef, and Ansible as configuration management tools since 3 years. He is proficient in Python and bash/powershell scripting and has implemented it in automating tasks, reducing manual overhead. Vrushal is also proficient in RHEL 7 and Windows server 2012 R2/2016/2019 operating systems. He has working experience on vRA/vRO Orchestrator on VMWare based cloud for a year. Vrushal has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM) from IGNOU and is currently pursuing AZ-104 and CKA certifications. He is also planning to pursue AZ-400 certification in the future. In the past, Vrushal has worked with gs lab as Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. He has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj Engineering College, Shegaon. He has also completed a PG Diploma in Management in Operations from IGNOU. Vrushal's tech stack includes SRE, Azure, Ansible, Terraform, Software Engineer, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, infra, and Senior Software Engineer.
