Vyom Shrivastava is a highly skilled Data Scientist with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working at Schlumberger as a Data Scientist in HQ & DnI. He also developed O&G blocks worth $1.3B, reducing energy poverty in 2 countries. Before joining Schlumberger, Vyom worked as a Global Alpha Researcher at Trexquant Investment LP. In this role, he developed market-neutral, medium-frequency Alphas that predict future stock returns. He also investigated and implemented recent academic research, developed algorithms to filter and combine Alphas, and applied machine learning techniques to alpha discovery and portfolio construction. Vyom holds a Dual-Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
