Wade Gerten is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and executive leader with over 27 years of relevant experience. Currently, he serves as a Mentor for Techstars, a three-month intensive startup accelerator focused on bringing new technology, experiences, products, and solutions to retail in partnership with Target. In this role, he helps emerging startups to develop their business strategies and grow their operations. Prior to his current position, Wade held senior executive roles in several companies, including Infor and Evine Live Inc. At Infor, he served as the Senior Vice President, Digital & Retail, where he was responsible for product strategy, engineering, cloud operations, and professional services teams for Infor's customer experience and retail businesses. At Evine Live Inc., he was the Vice President, Digital, where he worked with an energized team of Eviners to drive sales, buzz, awareness, engagement, and innovation in the video commerce space. Wade's expertise spans across various areas, including ecommerce, marketing, online marketing, product marketing, and creative design. He has managed a $300M ecommerce business across web and mobile platforms, with mobile commerce representing 50% of the business. He has also led communications, brand management, public relations, social media, email marketing, paid media/online advertising, SEO, product marketing, content management, photo/video studio, creative design, and promotion. Wade holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Computer Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He has a strong tech stack in mobile and web technologies. Wade is a dynamic leader, a strategic thinker, and a problem solver. He has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the tech industry.
