Wasae Qureshi is a Software Engineering MTS at Salesforce with 3.20 years of relevant experience. He was born and raised in the Bay Area and has been fascinated by software and technology since a young age. He pursued Software Engineering after college and joined Salesforce via the FutureForce program. Currently, Wasae is working as a Software Developer for the Service Cloud Real Time team at Salesforce. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Developer for the Content Experience Engineering team where he was responsible for managing and configuring AWS, updating certificates for applications, and leading initiatives to migrate content from legacy portals to Salesforce Help & Training site. He also served as a Scrum Master, leading effective Sprint meetings and ceremonies, and building CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and delivery process for Salesforce Documentation content. Before joining the Service Cloud Real Time team, Wasae worked as a Software Engineering MTS for the Shared Services (Infrastructure) team within Salesforce.org. Here, he was responsible for CI/CD updates and improvements, AWS and Docker maintenance, and creating applications/scripts to improve productivity for releases, CI/CD, and AWS infrastructure (Terraform). He also served as a Scrum Master and helped integrate several tools such as SonarQube and NexusIQ to improve quality and security. Prior to joining Salesforce.org, Wasae worked as a Systems Engineer II, leading the Events Enterprise Operations team that supports both success.salesforce.com and the Salesforce Events app (both Android and iOS). Here, he focused on automating tasks, releasing code into staging and production environments, triaging production issues, and monitoring system health. Wasae holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from California State Polytechnic University. He is proficient in Salesforce, AWS, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, iOS, Android, Objective-c, Javascript, Jenkins, Web, Python, and Java.
