Wenbo Wang is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for Distributed system/Cluster management, Linux, Kubernetes, Cloud Platform, and Network Operating System related work. He is currently working at Cisco as a Software Engineer, focusing on High Availability (HA) under the Core Routing Business Unit. His work involves designing Ethernet switch drivers, improving the MLAP process, working on shelf manager process, and improving the Process-Manager process, among other things. Wenbo has also worked as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff at Cohesity, where he developed NIC auto-bonding, Firewall, VLAN, IPAM, Routes, and designed and accomplished quorum k8s microservice on Cohesity Helios. He also designed and implemented multi-subnet cluster feature to support stretch cluster/subnet per rack/multi-zone requirement on all Cohesity and Cloud Edition platforms and worked on Cluster management services which manage node/rack/cluster level distributed system status and operations. He has also worked at Meta as a Software Engineer, where he worked on Facebook-scale cluster management system. Wenbo has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering System from the University of Michigan and a B.S in Embedded System, Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He has over 9 years of relevant experience and has developed expertise in Software Engineering, infra, Kubernetes, Microservices, and iOS.
