Wendy Cheung is a high-energy software engineer with a growth mindset and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real world problems. With over 12 years of relevant experience, she has a good eye for design and strong intuition in user experience, making her particularly adept at crafting simple and delightful interfaces. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Gradle Inc., Wendy has previously worked at Asapp and Telltale Games, where she played a key role in building and improving customer support platforms, internal tools, asset management systems, and reporting tools using technologies such as React, Redux, TypeScript, and Google Analytics. She has also implemented customer account management for telltale.com, which has over 100,000 weekly active users. Wendy's work at Asapp involved building the conversation history feature on an AI-driven customer support platform, integrating a dynamic server-generated JSX serialization with the client-side rendering layer, implementing the production of analytics events serialized in Protobuf, and creating a preview mode for the agent facing interface in the internal development tool. At Telltale Games, she replaced various third party customer support tools with an internal tool, redesigned and built an internal asset management system, and created a reporting tool that coordinates with the Telltale CMS and a third party analytics provider. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University and an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program degree from Hack Reactor.
