Wenliang Zhang is an experienced data scientist with over 10 years of hands-on research experience in the field of immuno-oncology and infectious diseases. He is a trained computer scientist with a concentration on data science and a wealth of experience in data analytics and machine learning. Wenliang is a highly self-motivated hybrid-scientist with goals to continue growing in data science to leverage his diverse background and skills to develop and advance software tools, build predictive models and analytical pipelines, and find meaning and insights into big data. Wenliang has strong hands-on programming skills in Python, R, Bash, SQL, Javascript, and C++ with a focus on data science. He is familiar with Python and R packages in the scientific computing stack for complex data analysis and has rich experience in analyzing big data from varying sources including NGS, FACS, CyTOF, digital pathology images, time-series financial data, and NLP. Wenliang has hands-on machine learning experience with Scikit-Learn and deep learning with Keras/TensorFlow (DNN, CNN, RNN, AutoEncoder).
