Wensheng Sun is a highly-skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for technology and life. With a Ph.D. in engineering and a strong background in machine learning and mathematics, Wensheng has spent over 6 years in the tech industry, working on cutting-edge projects and collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the field. Currently, Wensheng is a Senior Software Engineer in the Machine Learning Algorithms team at LinkedIn, where he is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to improve user experience and engagement. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Engineer in the Machine Learning team at LinkedIn, and as a Senior Data Scientist at OpenX, where he developed predictive models and algorithms for programmatic advertising. Wensheng's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Tsinghua University. His technical skills include ML, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Research Science.
