Wesley T. is a driven and dynamic individual seeking a Summer 2023 Internship. He is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Computer Science at Wesleyan University under the Freeman Asian Scholarship. Wesley has gained valuable experience in the Singapore public sector, startup scene, early-stage venture capital, and most recently in Web3 VC. He is now looking for opportunities in the US, Singapore, or remotely. Wesley's passion lies in being part of the growth journey of enterprises. He is constantly hungry for new experiences in various fields and countries, and he is interested in gaining exposure in different industries, specifically in consulting, finance (IB, HF, PE, VC), tech (PM, SWE), and Web3. Currently, Wesley is working as a Venture Scout at Calm Company Fund. Previously, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Coinhako, where he explored and evaluated projects that could help direct new investment activity or impact the existing portfolio under Coinhako Ventures (HakoVentures). He also drafted research memos and internal presentations to develop an informed opinion about emerging frontiers such as DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and stablecoins. Wesley received a return offer from Coinhako after completing his internship. Wesley's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics from Wesleyan University, which he expects to complete in 2025. He also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), where he achieved 45/45 points (A for TOK, A for Extended Essay). Wesley's tech stack includes Web3, NFT, DeFi, product manager, software engineer, and research scientist.
