Will Hanson is a Fin-Tech Nerd, Father, Artist, and Engineer with over 16 years of relevant experience in the field. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and CTO of Canopy, a company that provides modern servicing infrastructure for scaling Fin-Techs. Will is a person who lives and works by his values, which include empathy, transparency, science, growth, celebratory, and discipline. He is a Senior Software Engineer, infra, product manager, and Java expert. Prior to his current role, Will worked as a Consulting CTO and technical advisor for several companies, including Quorum Code, Neat Ways, Lean Looper, and Hatchify yc19. He also served as a consulting CTO and advisor for Realkey, where he helped build and launch the product and raise post-seed bridge round for mortgage servicing. Will has also worked as the Director of Engineering at Lendup, where he was responsible for Credit Cards and Micro Loans for people with little or no credit. He has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science & Applied Physics and a BM / BA in Music Education & Psychology from Christopher Newport University.
