Will Hitchcock is a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer currently working at Zapier, where he is a Senior Engineer on the Manage Team building out the core Zapier product and helping to improve the experience of managing Zaps, accounts, authentications, and more for their customers. With over 11 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record of building high-impact products at scale. Will is a collaborative team player who loves working with cross-functional teams to achieve big objectives and create quality products that shape the world. He is responsible for technical leadership, stakeholder communication, mentorship and coaching, and strategic project planning at Zapier. Prior to joining Zapier, Will worked as a Frontend Engineer at the same company and as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Udacity. At Udacity, he was the Student Services Frontend Lead, responsible for overseeing all frontend engineering efforts across the Reviews, Student Hub, and Knowledge platforms used daily by tens of thousands of students, mentors, and community managers. He worked closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and other engineers to conceptualize, architect, delegate work streams, deliver impact-driven product features, and mentor other Frontend Engineers.
