Will Koffel is a highly accomplished technologist, startup founder, mentor, and investor with over 15 years of relevant experience. Currently, he serves as the Founder in Residence at Area 120, a startup incubator within Google. In this role, he is responsible for identifying and nurturing promising startup ideas and helping them grow into successful businesses. Prior to his current position, Will served as the Head of Startup Ecosystems for Google Cloud in the Americas. In this role, he worked closely with startups, venture capitalists, incubators, competitions, and events to ensure that the next generation of great companies are powered by the incredible technology stack of Google Cloud. He also helped sales, marketing, and developer relations meet the unique needs of startups. Before joining Google, Will worked on delivering world-class training for Google's cloud and enterprise product offerings. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Music Composition from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also attended St. Mark's School and Fay School. Throughout his career, Will has demonstrated a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. He has founded several successful startups and has mentored numerous entrepreneurs on their own startup journeys. He is also an active investor in early-stage startups and is always on the lookout for the next big thing.
