William Scott is a highly skilled Data Science III at PromptCloud with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a Master's graduate from IIITD, India, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. Currently, William is seeking PhD opportunities in the US. William's expertise lies in Deep Learning and AI research. He has worked as a DL/AI Researcher in TCS Research and possesses hands-on experience in solving practical problems. William has also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and Full-Stack Developer for 2.5 years. William has contributed to recent research works, including ENDEMIC: Early detection of COVID-19 fake tweets (PAKDD 2021, Accepted) and Cross-SEAN: COVID-19 Fake news detection model (ELSEVIER, Under Review). Prior to his current role, William has worked as a Data Science Intern at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Here, he built Machine Learning models to detect and predict the risk of dementia with limited and sparse data having high dimensional data points. William also built an Automata defined Graph simulation model to analyze & forecast the spread of COVID-19 based on demographics, lockdowns, etc. specific to a country. William has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Machine Learning (PG) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Here, he was responsible for designing and evaluating assignments/quizzes leading to maximum learning. He was also responsible for doubts clarification during TA hours.
