He implemented a horizontally-scaled infrastructure using NGINX load balancer and four EC2 microservice instances to handle 1600 user requests per second with 0% error-rate with < 70 ms (100x faster) latency. He also stress-tested the deployed app with Loader.io/ k6.io and analyzed results with New Relic to identify bottlenecks. At hoppingcouch, Wilson rendered sortable reviews, ratings, and modal using React and styled components to deliver modular UI/UX. He achieved 92% code test coverage using Jest/ Enzyme to monitor expected system and component behavior. He also optimized load speeds by 45% on Google PageSpeed Insights by decreasing bundling assets size by 75% with Node Express compression middleware and uploading to AWS S3.
