Winston Pais is a final year B.E. Computer Science student at St Joseph Engineering College who is passionate about competitive programming and hackathons. He is a software engineer at BrowserStack, where he has been working for 2.20 years. Winston enjoys working as part of a team, believing that collaboration brings out the best in people. Winston has worked on various projects, including web crawlers, full-stack web apps, algorithm visualizers, Discord bots, and Java Swings desktop apps. These projects have solidified his knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving capabilities. He is skilled in programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java. Winston is also proficient in tools and frameworks such as React JS, Django, Selenium, PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. Winston has experience working with Git, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and VS code. He is always willing to learn new things and is open to new challenges. Winston's relevant experience includes working as a software engineer intern at Hashedin and TCS. During his internship at TCS, he developed a web crawler for an auto-finance company to provide competitive loans and built interactive charts and dashboards using Echarts for easy interpretation of data. Winston holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science Engineering from St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, which he will complete in 2021.
