Xiaoqian Liu is a highly motivated Software Engineer with a passion for backend infrastructure and machine learning. With over 6 years of relevant experience, she has developed a wide range of skills in software development, testing, and data engineering. Currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, Xiaoqian is responsible for developing and maintaining GCP Serverless. Prior to this, she worked on Firebase test lab where she gained valuable experience in mobile test infrastructure. Xiaoqian has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Salesforce, where she developed an experimentation platform on the Einstein Platform. During her time at Samsung Austin R&D Center, she created a web-based dashboard to visualize past and predicted license usage data using HTML, javascript, dc.js and crossfilter.js. She also implemented a back-end pipeline to conduct data aggregation, preprocessing, time series modeling, parameter tuning, model selection, and validation via Python and R scripts. Xiaoqian holds a Master of Science (MS) in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where she also obtained her Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering with a Computer Science Minor. She is proficient in several programming languages and technologies including GCP, Spark, MapReduce, and ML. With her diverse skill set and passion for learning, Xiaoqian is a valuable asset to any team. She is always eager to learn and apply her knowledge in all fields related to backend infrastructure and machine learning.
