Xilei Wang is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer currently working at Google. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Xilei is proficient in Go and JAVA programming languages. At Google, Xilei has constructed a secure user verification and registration process for Google Cloud Workspace, utilizing technologies such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), Jasmine, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and Google GUICE. Prior to joining Google, Xilei has worked with Amazon and Hewlett Packard in various capacities. During Xilei's tenure at Amazon, they built a Backend Service Application for Alexa Mobile App Home in Observer Pattern with RxJava. Xilei also built Serverless Applications with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, dynamoDB, IAM, and CloudWatch, among others. During Xilei's time at Hewlett Packard, they were in charge of various features in switch monitoring and network analytics applications in Aruba OS-CX. Xilei developed a Network Analytics Engine using Go, and integrated it with Prometheus time series database (TSDB) and Open vSwitch Database Management Protocol (OVSDB). Xilei also developed the network application to provide real-time monitoring and anomaly detection of all traffic/configuration/status of the switch and neighboring switches, and speed up troubleshooting and remediation of network issues. Xilei collaborated with a team of 5 to design and develop the framework for auto-generating REST APIs and Swagger WebUI for ArubaOS-CX, which allows easy integration and ongoing flexibility with infrastructure and applications. Xilei also developed and maintained the backend logic for REST URI verification and generation based on OVSDB schema and data. Xilei holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
