Xingguang Xie is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer at Citrix, with over 9 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently leading the effort to design and implement new infrastructure for Citrix workspace SaaS/web configuration management and usage, with the goal of significantly reducing user waiting time and improving their experience. Xingguang is responsible for designing and implementing new microservices to sync the latest user configuration, as well as designing and implementing a connector security proxy to fetch configuration for customer connectors. He has also designed the process and tools for data modeling migration and data comparison, and deployed new microservices to global distributed pop via k8s while maintaining various microservices for data pop and management pop in Citrix workspace. Xingguang has a proven track record of success in designing and refactoring customer entitlement provision and management, policy definition microservices for Citrix workspace, and message notification systems to various microservices via Azure service bus. He has implemented multi-connection for controller in Citrix workspace data pop, multi-pop registration for Citrix connector to improve the performance of workspace, and moved gateway core to K8S. Xingguang owns gateway core and other 2 major microservices, creates Splunk alert sheets, and supports all related issues related to SSL and security. He has also designed and implemented secure policy signing in config versioning microservices for Citrix workspace, implemented ECDSA support on N3FIPS, and added ECDSA key/cert management in Netscaler. Prior to joining Citrix, Xingguang worked as a Software Development Engineer at Citrix NetScaler SSL team, where he implemented management API on Netscaler N3FIPS-MPX, SDX, added new feature SSL utilization for MPX-N3, implemented ECDHE and AES_GCM ciphers for Netscaler FIPS, and provided TLS1.3 support on Netscaler. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The College of William and Mary, where he assisted with Data Structure, Computational Problem Solving, and Concepts of Computer Science courses. Xingguang holds a Master's degree from The College of William and Mary, a Master's degree from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications, and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications.
