Yajur Kumar is a highly skilled AOCS and GNC Engineer with a track record of success in working on 10 Geostationary Satellite Missions and 4 special missions, including a human spaceflight mission. He possesses strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and C++, and has a Master Level Certification of STK software for mission. Currently, Yajur is working at ISRO's Satellite Centre as a Scientist / Engineer SD, where he is responsible for designing AOCS for multiple geostationary satellites and special missions, such as IDRSS, IRNSS 1J and 1K, GSATs, Aditya L1, and Chandrayaan 2 and 3. Prior to his current role, Yajur worked as a Scientist / Engineer SC at ISRO's U R Rao Satellite Centre, where he served as an AOCS Engineer for Geostationary satellites and special missions, including Chandrayaan-2, Chandrayaan-3, and Aditya-L1. He also collaborated as a GNC Engineer in Project Spadex. Before joining ISRO, Yajur worked as a Flight Controls Engineer at Skydeploy UAS, where he developed the flight dynamics model for non-military drones, with special attention on VTOL drones. Yajur holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Aerospace Engineering (Flight Mechanics and Control) from IIT and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aeronautical Engineering from UPTU. He also completed his All India Secondary School Certificate Examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education. Yajur's technical expertise includes research scientist and Python. He has a relevant experience of 5.19 years in the industry. Yajur is a result-driven engineer who is passionate about his work and strives to achieve excellence in his field.
