Yash Kumar is a Software Engineer at Google, with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. He graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in CSE. Yash has 1.43 years of relevant experience in the software engineering industry, with a focus on mobile and search technologies. He is currently working in the Search Ads Quality team at Google, where he is responsible for ensuring the quality of search ads and improving the overall user experience. Prior to joining Google, Yash worked as a Summer Intern at Samsung, where he gained valuable experience in the Network Modem R&D Team. During his time there, he learned about the working of MAC and RLC layers in the LTE Protocol Stack, and developed parsers for their log files to help in statistical analysis or finding network related bugs. He also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at C-DAC, where he studied how logs are stored for different software during a lab examination, and created an Ubuntu application to upload the log files along with the submission made by an examinee. Yash's tech stack includes expertise in Software Engineering, Mobile, and Search technologies.
