Yash Mewada is a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, where he is responsible for implementing resilient and secure authentication and session management services for the Amazon Go store. Yash has a profound interest in working with Big Data, Machine Learning, and developing scalable systems for Android and Web. He is a practitioner and has experience with development of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. Yash has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Zimperium and an iXp Software Development Engineer Intern at SAP. During his time at SAP, he designed system pipelines and implemented an anomaly detection system for malicious logins using Kafka and KSQL. He also implemented custom Kafka Connect plugins for visualizing data from Kafka Topic to Elastic Search and Kibana, and custom Low-Level Kafka Processors for performing aggregations on data to facilitate querying. Yash also implemented a Kafka Streams app to resolve location information from users’ IP from Kafka topic for aggregation. Yash holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas, where he completed his studies in 2019. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Parul Institute of Tech., Limda, Vaghodia 087, which he completed in 2017. Yash completed his High School (science) education from Baroda High school ONGC in 2006.
