Yash Sherry is a highly skilled software engineer with over 3 years of experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Google, where he is part of the Google Ads Team, working on Product Uplift - an internal tool that provides smart insights on customer feedback. He is responsible for working on the ML and Data Analytics architecture and model building within the team. Additionally, he has built ETL pipelines and models to extract insights from feedback data and built dashboards using multiple internal tools. He has a strong software stack which includes Java, Dart, Neo4j, and PySpark. Yash is also a co-founder of Sherry Academy, a suite of EduTech products for the digital transformation of Institutions. Their first product is Placements365, a campus recruitment optimization platform. He was selected for ProjX, StartMIT, and MIC Generator programs at MIT. He has also worked as a Visiting Graduate Student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, funded by Google, where he worked on understanding the economic impacts that algorithms have on the IT industry. He built the first historical mapping of over 140 algorithm families with 1200+ algorithms and presented the work at MIT, Harvard, UC Berkeley. Yash has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2020. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has also completed several professional education programs, including a Data Science program from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an Entrepreneurship Specialization and Business Fundamentals Specialization from The Wharton School.
