Yashar Moradi is a highly experienced technology leader, software architect, and lean/agile coach with over 20 years of experience in designing and developing location-based solutions. Currently, he serves as a Project Manager, Consultant & Solution Developer at disy informationssysteme gmbh, where he manages various support/solution development projects and participates in the development of the GIS2go solution and app for Android and iOS devices. Prior to his current role, Yashar was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at cloudeo, where he operated a unique, vendor-independent, data-agnostic market platform through which customers could obtain professional geoinformation services from leading national and international providers at low cost. He also worked as a Software Developer (Embedded Navigation/GPS Systems) at itpower solutions gmbh, where he developed a basic framework for an Embedded Car Navigation System and performed performance benchmarking. Yashar has a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from azad university (iau), where he started his education in 1995 and graduated in 2003. He has a diverse tech stack and is a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in database administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Informix, DB2, ArcSDE), system analysis, design and development of custom software solutions, GIS modeling/analysis, data migration workflows, and ETL routines. He has also developed ArcGIS Add-ins for data-interoperability with Preludio (CSW) and small in-house applications to speed up repetitive tasks using C#, ArcObjects, Python, GDAL/OGR. Yashar is a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record of setting up, coaching, managing, and cooperating with several successful multinational product development teams. He is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the client's requirements and integrating them with third-party libraries/tools when required.
