Yathiraj U is a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead with a passion for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions. With 7 years of experience in the software development industry, he has specialized in the E-Commerce domain and has proven expertise in Java, AWS, and the Spring framework. Currently, Yathiraj is working as a Technical Lead at bigbasket.com(TATA), where he is responsible for designing highly scalable distributed applications. He has hands-on experience with AWS S3, SQS, SNS, IAM, ELB, Route53, RDS, DMS, ASG, and ECS. Before joining bigbasket.com(TATA), Yathiraj worked as a Software Engineer at DailyNinja, where he contributed to all stages of backend development, including system architecture, low-level design, database design, hands-on coding, driving test coverage, and improving deployment infrastructure. He also designed an API framework that seamlessly integrates with all payment gateways and developed a highly scalable notification system. Additionally, he created a SAAS platform for the new partner applications from scratch and mentored the engineering team, assigned tasks, and actively participated in hiring and training new hires. Yathiraj has also worked as a Software Engineer at Calient Technologies Inc., where he refactored a legacy application into modules for better maintenance and implemented a notification module for the application. Yathiraj holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from St. Joseph Engineering College Mangalore. He also completed his Pre-University education from Canara College and his high school education from Anandashram High School Someshwar. Yathiraj's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering, AWS, Backend development, ECS, Spring, Java, infra, and Python.
