Yatin Kewale is a passionate firmware developer with expertise in embedded systems, embedded software, networking, and wireless technologies. He recently graduated with a Master's degree in Computer Systems Engineering with a specialization in the Internet of Things from Northeastern University, Boston. Yatin is highly skilled in designing and devising new systems, and his goal is to achieve a sense of satisfaction by delivering his best. Yatin's skill set includes languages such as C, C++14, Assembly (ARMv7, MIPS, IA-32/x86), Python, Java, and C#(basic). He is also proficient in hardware I/O such as I2C, SPI, UART, ADC/DAC, GPIO, and tools like Enterprise Architect, gdb, Code Composer Studio, JIRA, git, Keil, Eclipse, Wireshark, and Cisco Packet Tracer. Yatin has worked with various hardware boards/MCUs such as TI C2000 (Piccolo, Delfino), STM32, ATmega328, Broadcom BCM 2837, Atmel 8051, Intel 8086, and PIC. He is also well-versed in network protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, IPv6, BLE, TCP, UDP, IEEE 802.15.4, IEEE 802.11, 6LowPAN, and HTTP. Currently, Yatin works as a Researcher/Developer at GENESYS Labs, where he has designed and implemented C/C++/Python code for the microcontroller, hardware interfacing, electromagnetic sensing, and data communication for a wireless charging pad designed for multiple UAVs, laptops, and mobile phones. He has also designed code in Python for 'coilOS' with a team of 3 members and created UML documentation (Class, Activity, Package). Yatin has set up, tested circuits (Device charging and sensing, Coil switching), and validated the system using Oscilloscopes. He has collected sensing data for various mobile phone models to make prediction robust, achieving over 90% accuracy. In the past, Yatin has worked as a Teaching Assistant/Teaching Fellow at Level Education from Northeastern University, where he tutored 20 students in circuits, interfacing sensors and actuators to Raspberry Pi/Arduino, Node-Red, etc., and helped troubleshoot hardware and software problems for "Hacking the IoT" pre-college program.
