Yi Ding is a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the tech industry. Currently working at Coupang, he is responsible for the indexing platform and search infrastructure, working on everything related to Coupang search index. He has experience in ground truth data ingestion, ranking signal aggregation, ML reranking data serving, Solr batch and dynamic index building and serving, and has optimized Spark jobs for time and resource usage.
