Yihao Fang is a highly skilled and accomplished Ph.D. holder, entrepreneur, and researcher at Queen's University with over 6.55 years of relevant experience in the field of computer science. He is a Deep Learning Researcher, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Educator, and Consultant with expertise in computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning. He is also the founder of Lexivalley Inc., an A.I. company specializing in deep-learning-based educational robotics systems. Yihao's current role is that of a Researcher at Queen's University, where he is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Smith School of Business. He conducts research and performs real-data exercises supported by their industry partner, Scotiabank, using modern techniques in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing to tackle research problems. He is also responsible for creating and editing written materials for publications. In the past, Yihao has worked as a Course Director at York University, where he lectured on machine learning theory and evaluated students subject to departmental policy. He was also responsible for preparing online course materials, assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred examinations. Yihao holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from McMaster University, a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Software Engineering from McMaster University, and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Tongji University.
