YIMU JIN is a highly skilled Computer System Engineering graduate student from Northeastern University with a passion for designing creative and innovative computer systems to apply in all kinds of machines. With a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Automation, YIMU has a solid foundation in the field of engineering. He has designed and built an Underwater Climbing Robot with Cables, which can automatically detect and find wrecked ships, climb onto the ship through the ship wall, and help people implement sea rescue. This project won the first prize in the National Competition of Transport Science and Technology in China. YIMU is proficient in Java, Python, C, CAD/CAM, Solidworks, and other programming languages. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at ByteDance, where he is engaging in search-related work in TouTiao app, a news and information content platform based on Machine Learning Algorithms. YIMU is responsible for refactoring a module code with functions such as packaging of request data, processing of business logic, providing data, and so on. This module greatly enhances the company's business development and iteration efficiency, realizes complete isolation of business code, reduces code coupling, output data specification format, unified monitoring and management, etc. The performance of the module is great and can cover over 10,000 QPS. Previously, YIMU worked as an intern at Shenyang No.1 Machine Tool Sales Co., Ltd., where he acquainted himself with the plant's gear processing, sheet metal processing, and shaft parts processing and studied the design of VT2-0 2001L spindle box, the structure and assembly of VT2 electrical system. He also learned rules and methods of conducting VT2 precision inspection. YIMU has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Dalian Maritime University. He has relevant experience of 3.78 years and is skilled in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Search, Python, Java, and other technologies. YIMU is an enthusiastic and dedicated engineer with a passion for designing and building innovative computer systems.
