Yogender is an Associate QA L2 with over 1.68 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently working with Publicis Sapient, he has also previously worked with Adobe and HCL as a Software Engineer 2 and Member of Technical Staff, respectively. In his role as a Software Testing Engineer, Yogender has worked on different software projects as an individual contributor, testing the different functionality and overall UI of the application. He is experienced in working in an agile environment, collaborating with PO, Scrum Master, and development teams. Yogender has also tested backend APIs using Postman and used JIRA for bugs and tasks. At HCL, Yogender created, modified, debugged, and executed test scripts for web applications using Java and Selenium Webdriver. He was responsible for validating automation test results, root cause analysis of failed automation results in Despeckle, and manual verification of those failed results. He also performed defect reporting and tracking using a defect management tool, Buganizer. Yogender was involved in compatibility testing on different web browsers, framework designing/maintenance, and coordinating with the client-side development team for bug fixing. He was also responsible for preparing and submitting daily status reports to the client. Yogender has a Master of Computer Applications degree from Suresh Gyan Vihar University, which he is expected to complete in December 2022. He also holds a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree from Assam Don Bosco University, which he completed in December 2018. His tech stack includes QA, test, software engineering, web, UI, backend, iOS, Android, Selenium, mobile, and Java.
