Currently working at meta, Yue is responsible for developing personalized recommendations and ranking for the Facebook app. With almost a decade of relevant experience, Yue has worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Microsoft and Qualcomm. At Microsoft, Yue served as a Senior Applied Scientist, where he worked on Knowledge and Conversation and Natural Language Understanding. He was responsible for building Transformer-based joint intent/slot models for intent classification and sequence tagging. At Qualcomm, Yue worked as a Senior Engineer, where he developed the Qualcomm modem automation testing framework and log analysis platform. He also worked on the modem performance automation framework, focusing on LTE and TDSCDMA technology. Yue has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, which he completed in 2013. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with Management from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, which he completed in 2011.
