Yunyi Huang is a senior student at UCSD majoring in Data Science and Cognitive Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Neural Computation. With a passion for both data science and cognitive science, she has developed a unique skill set that allows her to analyze complex data and draw meaningful insights. Currently, Yunyi is working as a Data Science Intern at Tandem Diabetes Care, where she is part of the R&D, DS-Product Team. In this role, she is responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and creating predictive models to improve product performance. Prior to her current role, Yunyi has gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at UCSD Phonetics Lab, where she worked on various projects related to speech perception and production. She has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at UCSD, where she assisted over 200 students to build their knowledge in Python and Java programming, data structures and algorithms. Yunyi's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Data Science and Cognitive Science from the University of California, which she is expected to complete in 2023. She also completed her high school education at Norfolk Christian Schools in 2019. With 0.60 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist and Research Scientist, Yunyi is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for ways to improve her skills. She is proficient in various programming languages, including Python, R, and Java, and has experience working with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI. Overall, Yunyi is a dedicated and hardworking individual who is passionate about data science and cognitive science. She is constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to further develop her skills and knowledge in these fields.
