Yuxiang Xiang is an experienced Engineer currently working as a Network Quantitative Engineer at Facebook. With almost 5 years of experience, Yuxiang has worked in various roles in the field of data science and statistical modeling. Before joining Facebook, Yuxiang worked as a Statistical Modeler at Munich Re (Group) where he developed statistical models to predict insurance claims and analyzed data to identify trends and patterns. He also worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Locus Analytics where he gained experience in data visualization and analysis. Yuxiang has a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s Degree in Data Science from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University. He also has experience studying abroad as a visiting student in the School of Business at the University of Hong Kong and the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University. With his diverse educational and professional background, Yuxiang has developed a strong skill set in data analysis, statistical modeling, and computer science. He is proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL and has experience working with big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
