Zachary Jones is a highly experienced Senior Software QA Engineer with a proven track record in the regulated medical device industry. With over 7 years of experience in functional testing for product verification, Zachary has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Johnson & Johnson, Auris Health, and Accuray. Currently working as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, Zachary is responsible for designing and executing functional software verification testing for endoscopic medical robotics. He is also responsible for drafting and submitting test plans and reports for documentation, and working with software developers to find software defects, investigate defects, and verify fixes for defects. Zachary is considered a subject matter expert for the software test team and is responsible for training new members. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Zachary worked as a Software QA Engineer at Auris Health, where he performed verification testing for Robotic Endoscopy platforms. This included reviewing design requirements from developers, creating test scripts, executing test protocols, generating reports, and maintaining test automation tools. Zachary also worked as a Product Test Engineer II at Accuray, where he acted as the lead test engineer for validation and usability testing of the Cyberknife robotic radiosurgery treatment delivery system. He created validation test plans, wrote validation and usability protocols, executed said protocols, recorded anomalies/issues/bugs, verified fixes, and generated documentation for regulatory submission. Zachary also developed and managed Gantt schedules to track progress and resource allocation, and helped other test teams with verification and validation of other products. Zachary holds a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, which he obtained in 2014. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university, which he obtained in 2013. Zachary attended Piedmont High School, where he obtained his High School Diploma in 2009. Zachary's technical skills include QA, Test, and SDET, and he has relevant experience of 7.94 years.
