Zahid Khursheed is a Lead Administrator at Wipro with over 9 years of experience in the field of IP networking. He is currently working on two migration projects for Cisco as a Consulting Engineer. In his current role, he is responsible for planning and executing activities related to L3 Routers Cisco ASR 9000, 9900, 900, 1000series, Juniper ACX 2200, and L2 Switches Cisco Catalyst 2900, catalyst 3850, RAD 6port/10 port, L2-Tech route, L2-Raise com. He is also experienced in troubleshooting activities of DSLAMs, and BRAS. Zahid is a Cisco Certified CCNA in Router and switching and has a good knowledge of protocol such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, and switched L2 networks VLANs, Trunking, VTP, MAC, and STP. He has installation and commissioning experience of Nexus Switches 5k, 7k & 9K and configuration and troubleshooting experience of various types of DSLAM from vendors such as Ericsson/UTStarcom/ALU/NSN. In his previous role as a State Engineer IP Access at Reliance Projects & Property Management Services Limited, he was involved in handling overall project related to installation, commissioning/Troubleshooting of a multivendor environment. He has experience in managing, monitoring, and utilization of traffic flow from customer end to L3 Core P.E routers, and redistribution of data on NLD Links from Core Routers to NLD Routers for Short Haul Distances and Long Haul Distances Via ILA respectively. Zahid has received 3 awards in Reliance for best performance and team work. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from AFSET.
