Zahir has a diverse background in the tech industry, having worked on a self-service streaming platform at Expedia Group as well. During this 3-month rotation, he was responsible for building a self-service streaming platform that consolidated a number of streaming solutions across Expedia Group brands. He worked on Kafka topic automation as a way to onboard consumers onto the platform in a self-service manner. Zahir holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Industrial Placement from Goldsmiths, University of London, which he completed in 2012. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in a variety of programming languages and tools. His tech stack includes software engineering and Kafka.
