Zainab Ghadiyali is a seasoned product and tech leader with over 11 years of experience in Silicon Valley. She has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Facebook and Airbnb, where she played key roles in driving growth and identifying opportunities that helped these companies scale. At Facebook, Zainab was part of the early Advertiser Growth team and was instrumental in identifying opportunities that 4x’ed Facebook’s advertiser growth during her time as Tech Lead. She also conceptualized and built Facebook’s first health care product - Blood Donate - which drove 30M new registered blood donors with its launch. At Airbnb, Zainab identified and led one of the company's top six priorities and managed a team of people and product managers. She was also the co-founder of Wogrammer, a platform that aimed to bridge the gender gap in technology. The platform reached 4M readers and was acquired in 2020 by AnitaB. For her work in this area, Zainab was listed by Foreign Policy among the Top 100 Global thinkers of 2015. Zainab is currently working with consumer and enterprise tech startups and writing on product and leadership. She is an Advisory Board Member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has previously worked with Reforge as an Operator in Residence, capturing, sharing, and scaling learnings from her experience as a product and engineering lead. She also founded Breaking Stereotypes Inc, where she advises and tinkers. Zainab holds an MS in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Winthrop University. She is a Senior Software Engineer with a vast tech stack. Zainab's curiosity-driven career has made her a thought leader in the tech industry, and her contributions have been recognized globally. She is a strategic thinker and a problem-solver who has a passion for bridging the gender gap in technology.
