Zalak Upadhyay is a skilled and experienced UX Manager at Accenture AI with over 14 years of relevant experience. She is an engineer turned designer who possesses a deep understanding of both the business and tech aspects of any project. She is known for her passion for work and her eagerness to learn new things every day. Zalak is a fun-loving person who is a joy to work with and loves to collaborate with teams. Currently, Zalak is leading the end-to-end User Experience at Accenture, starting from gathering functional requirements, understanding the business model/process, defining user personas, mapping their journeys, exploring design options, wireframing, rapid prototyping, and collaborating with business and development teams to achieve the project's envisioned outcome. In the past, Zalak has held several positions at Accenture, including UX Associate Manager, and Lead UX Designer at Kogentix Inc. (acquired by Accenture). At Kogentix, she defined the UX and led the re-design of the Automated Machine Learning Platform. She also worked on multiple POCs and explored the platform's applications for better insights for executive decision making. Zalak has a Master's degree in Information & Interface Design from the National Institute of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Engineering from Nirma Institute of Technology. She also has a Higher Secondary School degree in Science from K V Fort William, Kolkata. Zalak's tech stack includes AI, designer, and ML.
