Currently, Zhengmao Liu is working at Cruise Automation, where he is responsible for developing cutting-edge software solutions for autonomous driving. Prior to this, he worked as a Robotics Research Scientist at jd.com, where he developed visual localization algorithms based on stereo camera, camera robot calibration, and object detection and segmentation based on point cloud data. He has also worked as a Systems Engineer on Automated Driving at Valeo, where he was responsible for developing automated driving platforms, ADAS sensor systems (Lidar, Radar), detection and localization, and machine learning.
